College counseling to help 9th-12th graders aiming for the most selective schools
GETTING STUDENTS INTO THEIR
DREAM COLLEGES

Is your student aiming for the most
selective colleges?
I’m Susan Goodkin, a Rhodes Scholar with degrees from Harvard College, Harvard Law School and Oxford University, and I’ve been helping students around the world get accepted to their dream schools for the last decade.
I’ve seen that too often, students (and their parents!), think they’ve done everything “right” for admissions to top schools, only to learn as seniors that they’re not competitive for those schools.
There’s no magic formula that will get students admitted to the most selective schools — but if students understand what action steps to take, and what mistakes to avoid, their admissions odds go way up.
My students have an extraordinary 60% acceptance rate to the Ivies, Stanford and MIT – nearly ten times the average!
My students are also highly successful in admissions at Duke, Northwestern, Vanderbilt, Amherst, U. Chicago, U.Michigan, Rice, Tufts, Pomona, Berkeley, UCLA, Carnegie Mellon, Georgetown, and many more highly selective schools.
“In large part, I credit you for my daughter’s acceptance to Yale. Yes, she worked hard – and you advised us all along the bumpy and circuitous path.” — Parent of Yale admit
“You’re a miracle worker!” — Parent of Harvard admit
Whether students come to me as freshman or seniors, I not only help them vastly improve their admissions odds, but I’m equally proud that I helps them grow as scholars, contributors to their community, and people.
“From building up my daughter’s CV, ideas about programs, feedback on essays, and support in overcoming obstacles to the softer skills like teaching her about resilience, perseverance, and growing her confidence, she would not be who she is nor where she is today without your guidance.” –Parent of Dartmouth admit
“I truly appreciate all of your personalized attention and proactive guidance. To know that you cared about our daughter as a person and her success made such a difference.” –Parent of Harvard admit
“I have no words to express what it has meant for us to have your input, perspective, expertise, and loving care throughout this process! From one mother to another, I can never thank you enough.” –Parent of U. Chicago admit”
